Tom Lee Park

Tom Lee Park is a vibrant 31-acre public space located along the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis, Tennessee. Following its revitalization, completed in September 2023, the park has become a national model for inclusive and ecologically restorative urban design. Within the park’s Sunset Canopy, more than twenty of Meteor’s Dext 2.0 fixtures were installed to provide a balanced blend of upward and downward illumination. The upward lighting elegantly highlights the canopy’s grid ceiling, enhancing the architectural expression of the structure, while the downward lighting delivers powerful, uniform illumination for the sports field below. Beyond aesthetics, the Dext 2.0 series is rated IP65 and available in both outdoor and natatorium-ready configurations, offering a durable, robust solution for large-scale public and recreational environments.
