The original 1959 design of Stanford Medical Center featured 9' pendants with uplights and downlights. Over time, downlights were retrofitted with various lamp sources, and the uplight component was forgotten. Now, fifty-three custom Lance 6 outdoor luminaires have been installed to restore and modernize the lighting design.
