Time Immemorial

Evolving over the many years as a community gathering place and affordable family destination, the Armory has stood the test of time and continues to serve generations of visitors.

The Armory Food & Event Hall features fresh foods and beverages from several local merchants, and is also home to Seattle’s many community festivals, cultural celebrations and activities.

Key to serving such diverse communities is a unique lighting truss platform that is moveable and configurable depending on the type of events being hosted.

Power in a Small Form Factor

Thirty Meteor Atria 10 cylinders were specified in Seattle Center Armory, by Dark Light Design with each cylinder delivering 11,750 lumens. The new lighting, combined with ample natural light, is enough to illuminate the 6,000 square foot main event space. The ample spacing between the Atria 10 fixtures really demonstrates its power - and highlights how few Meteor fixtures are needed to illuminate such a big space.

Custom Options for a Historic Project

A custom Yoke Mount bracket was specially designed for the project, in order to fit this multifunctional theme. Depending on the event, the trusses that the Atria 10 cylinders are mounted on can be moved, and the fixture can also be directed at an angle of up to 35°. The specified luminaire can be independently controlled by DMX for maximum flexibility.
